Northern Plywood is a leading supplier of fire resistant plywood. This plywood contains chemicals that slow the spread of flame, protect the body beneath the top layer and slow down the chemical ignition. We use high-quality hardwood veneer and treat it with chemicals that have fire-retardant features. The manufacturing is highly effective, involving the application of glue in the pressure-treated veneer so deeply that the chemicals get infused. Veneers are pressurized in a vessel by the vacuum-cum-pressure method. The fire-resistant chemicals in the plywood form water vapour and release carbon dioxide, which reduces the supply of oxygen to the combustion process during fire accidents.
As we adhere to the highest quality standard, this plywood is manufactured as per IS 5509:2010 specifications. We use the latest technologies in manufacturing our product. This plywood is boiling water proof, termite and insect resistant, ignition and flame penetration proof and easy to maintain. By preventing large fire accidents, it saves loss of life and property. During the combustion process of fire, the plywood produces less smoke and toxic fumes. Boards made of this plywood stop burning once the fire is removed from the source. Another aspect of this plywood is that it remains structurally strong even at high temperatures. The dimensional properties, such as load-bearing strength and screw holding capacity remains reliable.
